That's a very tricky question to answer. The best advice I can give is to first do some research into when, where, and by whom the current format of the bible was compiled. From there, you can launch into theories/speculation/evidence about exactly what did and did not make it into that original compilation. As you'd expect, along they way you're going to run into..."zealous"...people on each side, so be cautious as to what you assume to be fact versus opinion.

It would also be interesting to note what, when, and why changes occurred after that time, like at Vatican councils and whatnot. Again, strictly from a historical perspective.

Wikipedia, unfortunately, is probably not a good place for this type of info, but you can give it a shot.

I disliked The DaVinci Code, as it relied too much on its Jesus conspiracy gimmick to be successful.

The problem is people taking the book, written as a work of fiction, and acknowledged so by Brown himself, seriously. It's a thriller, and that's about it.

one thing that just pissed me off about the movie previews is, of course, theres guns and killing, like what the fck you can't make an interesting movie without the SAME OLD drama??
"you found the code, you gonna expose it?"

uh what happened to the whole story ?....its just crap as far as i can tell.
